I really hope I can make it...

Like I already told you, Ill give you an answer by 3:30.

What time do you plan on being there?

Wonder how the 07 Sedan will do in the canyon.

Is it Sport trim? If so, I bet those paddle shifters might be as fun as an MT

Weather looks really cool right now

Can you let me know by 3 please? That way I can leave a lil earlier than usual to make it to the gas station.

I'm trying to get at least 2 people to go through Angeles Crest. If you can't make it it's cool. Robert hasn't given me a definate answer yet either. I think he's waiting to see if we get a few more peeps to go.

I don't think I would be comfortable pushing that car in the canyons lol I got so used to my suspension where it doesn't feel like it's loose. Though I haven't gone through a corner fast enough yet but I do know it has a nice quick in accelaration!!!

The loaner is a basic, so I don't even have the paddle shifters. Kinda bummed about it, but oh well.

And the weather does seem perfect, well at least compared to last Friday lol

just kidding 14.60... I have an 07 loaner right now too... it's funny because Wally returned his at Tustin today at 9:10 and I got one today at 10:00... we didn’t know each other would be there till we talked later in the day.

If you are wondering how the 07 compares to our sedans - stock for stock it would kill! However, I'm still evaluating the 07 compared to mine modded... power wise it's pretty close. Handling the 07 kicks @ss all over my car... every aspect of fit and finish 07 kills every previous version... the 07 seems to have a much better launch than mine but after the initial jolt TQ and power feels about the same. I'm thinking the dual intake/throttle bodies might have something to do with that.

WaLLy says his best LACR is 14.66 in his car, and he did 14.60 with the 07 sedan... given what my car does against his and my butt dyno in my car and the 07 loaner I have - I'm confidant my car would hold it's own in a straight line with the 07 (stock)... but start getting into corners and the 07 rules!

I'm not interested in getting one though.

My best time was a 14.6. I didn't keep my timeslips, I never do anymore..

My brother's best time with the 07 was a 14.576 @ 94.528MPH.

The track was windy like no other!!!!!! At first, they were only letting us run 1/8th of a mile since the winds were that strong... They were about to close the track down but good thing the winds died somewhat enough..

we left real early cuz it was too windy and cold! and besides that, we alerady had 10+ runs combined with my bro, and neighbor lol

I wonder what ever happened to the guy with the 07 sedan that was suppose to go to Irwindale with us that one night... I wonder if he was the guy in the M45 and didn’t want to say?... I would like to race an 07.

I wish I had the loaner till Thurs - we could go to Irwindale and have Vlad bring his sedan... WaLLy, next time you have a loaner let me know... hopefully we can do a track comparo.

BTW, I got the F150 at least its a white one and not yellow

Your were in quite a hurry on the way back huh Wally?

07 Sedans are not bulldozers

I think I learned my lesson; check the weather @ weather.com before I decide to go.

You got away with it because it was an auto; but my best 60ft was 2.9. The track had a layer of sand on it, and almost lost it 2 times in 2nd gear, and still tail fished in 3rd.

Only tried 2 runs because I didnt want to end up against the wall like that camaro did. I tried getting my money back, but it didnt work
