You shouldn't be nervous in LACR. The track is basically all yours . No one will ever pay attention.

LACR is a good place to learn & practice for a beginner... Irwindale & California Speedway are not

I doubt its going to be a problem. Put it this way, LACR has NEVER asked any of us for my proof of license, registration, or insurance.

You can ask Wally... he took an Infiniti loaner

They don't seem strict about helmets either... although I can't guarantee you anything.

Found this on LACR's website:
Helmets
Drivers of all 13.99 or quicker cars, and co-drivers in 14.00 to 14.99 second cars, must wear a helmet meeting Snell 2000 or Newer, or SFI 31.1,31.2 specs.

I still don't understand the co-drivers needing helmets... Are they trying to say passengers in the 14.00 to 14.99 second cars need helmets? If they are they have NEVER told me anything about my passengers needing helmets...

Yeah, but just my luck, after my first run, they'll ask me where my helmet is at and I don't have one.
