Thanks for the pictures Derek; you took one of me staging

Dammit, I think im going to have dreams about a jet sounding device coming from my engine bay *cough * *Vortech*

I hope 3 years passes by fast... because there's no way im getting one in one or two years

Love the way you tastefully modded your G Hector; honestly, I never knew that bumper looked so damn good. It looks three times as great in person (Top Secret right?)

And Wally, get that Nismo on already

Thanks bro. I've always been about modding my cars to look clean and simple. I prefer as much of a sleeper look as possible. Of course with that bumper (yes it's Top Secret) and FMIC, it's hard to look like a sleeper. But I don't like to do outrageous over the top mods on my car. Clean and simple is the key.

BTW, thanks for hanging back and waiting for me in the canyons. That was the first time for me going through any canyons since my accident so I was seriously sh1tting my pants. I have no confidence in the canyons at all right now. Sorry if I held you guys up.

No problem. How often can I say that a modded SC G35 couldn't hang with me?

It's understandable; I would be paranoid up the a$$ if I had such a previous encounter with a canyon wall/road like you did before.

Hey I wanted to ask you this before but forgot: Is it possible to get a black mesh (similar to OEM) for the TP bumper? Just curious...

haha!! Another thing freaking me out is that I had never driven through there before so I was completely unfamiliar with what was coming up around the next corner.

Yeah, it's definitely possible to get black mesh for the TS bumper. I actually have some but just haven't put it on yet.

off-topic: Hexx, I mailed out the DVD earlier today. you should be receiving it in about 2 days or so..

Hexx, I knew you were falling behind but it's all good, I'm sure I'd be scared ****tless if I had the accident you had. The feeling should go away once you get more of a feel of that road. But then again, I don't think we'd be going back that route since no more LACR

True

But then again, Vlad owes us another Canyon Run for that last one he cancelled ; I wen't the first one he had about 6 months ago, and its a sweet road! The curves are sharper, so speed shoudn't be too crazy. But then again, the corners are more blind to get into

Plus the fact that I have a lot more power under the hood than I did before. I was being really careful to not push it too much. I'm still learning how to drive my car with all this newfound power and I wasn't gonna make any mistakes in the canyons.

Thanks for the dvd, I can't wait to watch it!

the 335 was stock. His best time of the night was 13.85!

Are you sure he doesn't have a reflash or is chipped?? I find it hard to believe that a completely bone stock 335 was pulling those times at LACR on that night.

True. I would normally expect low 14's for that day. Not sure if I have it the other way around, but doesn't high altitude have less of a negative impact on FI cars rather than NA cars? Maybe that explains it

Hex, you need to show these 335i's how its done But before you do that, you'll definately need to fix your traction issues with some DR's (& clutch)

The best I've ever seen a 335i stock pull on LACR was 14.02. It just happened to be me who ran against him
