^on saturday its going to be my clutches last day. I am gonna try 5000 semi slip launches and get everything out of the car. On sunday car is going for the jwt clutch and flywheel.

I don’t know of any NA Gs in the 13s at our tracks... the heat and altitude kills it... This Sat is going to be near 80 and at nearly 1200 ft above sea level don’t expect 13s... as far as using DR - I guess that’s okay if all you are looking for are great times... personally I like knowing what my car will do driven as a daily driver. I don’t know anyone that drives daily with DRs. As far as I’m concerned unless you have an actual race car it’s futile to me what anyone’s car does if driven on the track in a way they don’t drive on the street. That’s just me though – I know a lot of you guys have your criteria at the track and sometimes that includes DR – I’m not suggesting that’s wrong – it just doesn’t do anything for me.

 

Thats how i feel also. I even leave my spare tire in the car.

 

Now I'm kinda glad I won't be able to run this weekend. The temps are gonna be higher than normal. I'll be ready for the December SLD's and hopefully we will see much cooler temps.

Guess what I just realized... The only other Street Legals is Dec 1st... you know what else is that day right? The TT Toys for Tots is that Sun and Nissan Sport Mag is co-sponsoring an event with Nissan (called Nissan Performance Experience or something like that) on SAT!!!! They are kind of in conjunction with each other (the Sat & Sun Events)... I was kinda targeting Sat to do the Performance Driving class and take the car on the ROVAL or at least Autocross... I wonder if the drag strip is even running that day? It's still listed on the AutoClub Raceway event calendar...

Damn it - finding time and resources to get on the 1/4 is starting to become a PITA!!!!

Dec 1st was the day I was trying to do BBQ with Lawrence at the drag strip... I am in Reno now... will look into the Dec thing further when I get home... right now I jut don't know about this Sat - but it could be the last chance before the first of the year... I wonder what Speedways sched is in Jan? we might need to try the BBQ idea then?....

 

I'm down, count me in. i'll throw on the altima wheels and tires i got for the track....my 19's need tires in a bad way.
