Damn, just my luck, something came up on the 1st and I am 99% sure that I can't make it. Hopefully there is another event coming up early next year when the weather is still cool. This sucks. Sorry fellas.

 

Another snafu on the BBQ guys... Lawrence PM'd me and he's got some work issues going on... he can still prep the meat - but won't be able to grill at the track

So... does someone want to step up and take grill responsibilities?... Vlad, Lawrence suggested you since you usually help make the killer grub at the big BBQ, but I told him since you are racing it might be a problem... Is anyone bringing someone along that could tend to the grill while we run? I think my friend Tim might bring his wife, but not sure yet.

Let me know - I need to figure out if we are still doing the BBQ and if so figure out how to get the meat from Lawrence.

I hope we can figure this out... I'm jonesin' for some KBBQ!

 

Might be the last drag event at Cal Speedway in a while! Who knows, maybe another 3-4 months from now.

I’m thinking KBBQ and Chicken Kabobs… does that sound okay for everyone? Or should we get carne Asada too?… We will also have potato salad, macaroni salad and coleslaw… let me know if you have other ideas… I want to finalize the eats part.
