I read it in the NHRA rulebook. Cali Speedway basically abides by those rules. Trust me, M2000 or M2005 helmets are fine unless your et is 7.49 or quicker. Then SA2000 or SA2005 helmets are required.

BTW, I got my RJS fire retardant race jacket today. Summit Racing Equipment FTMFW!! I ordered it late Sunday night and got it today.

Not pessimistic, just realistic… breaking 14.0 could happen with the absolute perfect conditions. 12/1/07 would have been about the only chance. If we had more tracks to hit – preferably at lower altitude and open to us more often so the lower temp were not such a rare thing, I would think different…. I’m not sure what the car would do in ¼ mile right now – low end is lagging. Shawn has graciously agreed to tweak a bit down low tomorrow… I’m hoping to get it better than it was with TS tune.

I went ahead and ordered a helmet from www.newenough.com. Their prices were just as good if not better than anywhere else. So it looks like I am pretty much ready. Should we start a new thread for the next street legal drags??
