for those of you that want 100 octane.. it wont make a diff for me so im over it.

i got 15 of my buddies to confirm a facebook event i made for this. they have: a modded mach 1, 2 wrxs, 2 M3s (slightly perf. modded, highly aesthetic mod), gti, rsx-s, 350z, modded camaro and a couple others. realistically i dont expect that many people to show up since we'll be partying on fri and they prob wont get up that early to race on a saturday. i'll def be there and will make sure to swing by and say hi.

2 things:
1) the last two times i went to the track at fontana i showed up too late to race what time should we get there to be guaranteed races?
2) how about the weather? i watched the news this morning and they said it might rain.. i hope not

 

Getting in line anywhere near 7am risks not making it thru the 400 car cut off.

anyone planning a caravan? we'll be leaving from the OC.. either from newport or irvine.. not too sure yet

 

6:30ish ends up in the 5-6 group from what I've seen in the past. Marty and I will be leaving from Westminster around 5:30 or so.

2 less than 2 days!!! I just got the meet from Lawrence (thanks dude, you rock!)… it will end up being a 60+ hour marinade!!!! Get ready to grill your @ss off Vlad!

Just a reminder to those racing – be there at 6:00am! We will meet in the open parking lot just inside the main gate to the right. Hopefully those coming later will be able to park near the pit area we end up in.

I guess I'll be driving to CS myself since there seems to be no SFV/L.A caravan. I'll be there 6:00 A.M Sharp. Derek, I'll be using your DR's for the first run since you were kind enough to offer them for the drag day.

Hopefully we have a video & camera man here who can film us doing our runs

is there a place i can rent or borrow helmets? a couple of my buddies will break 13.99

 

Not sure on that, getting thru tech is not a big deal without a helmet. The people at the timeslip booth know of of this rule so they check the slips and ask about helmets if you don't have one on your head when you get to the booth.
