the KBBQ fairy will need to place an open bag of marinade under your nose to wake you up though

No Show/Late Tally: OCG35 = .5, Skaterbasist = 3 (I think)

It's all good

It evaporates pretty quickly - unless you have an airtight seal you'll lose some by the time the next rack day comes (Jan 5th)... I'm going back to Shawn to figure some things out and might need race gas if he re-tunes... let me know.
It's in a sealed Sunoco container, I can't give it away or sell it considering my friend gave it to me to run. There are ethics and character involved. Hopefully I can plan to run it on another date.

I tried to go to Church's today for some dynos but I didn't get any calls back from them, and the FX goes into the shop on Monday.

Aye!!!!! You are hard to bribe!!!!!! No bumper in my future

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! If I manage to figure out a way to be one of the fastest N/A sedan VQs in the area... AND Promote your product... maybe?....

BTW, I'm asking about the bumper, not the damn race gas...

BTW - regarding the race gas... "Ethics and character"... I work for a company that provides service to the local refineries... we have an account with a place that sells race gas... I went there to by a couple of gallons at "corporate discount"... the mutherphuckers SCAROOD me!!!!!!!! 24 bucks for TWO gallons of 105

I guess they thought I was putting it on the company account

Anyway... I pay $12 a gallon for gas... how much for a Rookie bumper?...

Pretty sure that sfi rating is enough, single layer fire jacket.

Would've been a great day.

I've had a helmet since the first time I ran out there. This one. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I have a medium, you can try it on tomorrow at the t4ts show if you want to see the sizing. There are some other recommendations around here on test fitting helmets too.

I have a big head so I'll probably need a large or x-large.

you can get one from AutoBachs (Beach Blvd just north of 22)... I've heard even pep boys has 'em... Both less than $100... no sense in getting an expensive one - unless you plan to do a lot of auto crossing.

Irwindale doesn’t even require a helmet (I don't think) and they have cars running 5.5 1/8 mile throwing transmissions into the stands!!!!! Hair, teeth and eyeballs flown all over the track!!!!

Hey Wally!!!!! Irwindale Bro!!!!!! Run the Bimmer Next to the Muscle car throwing trap sensors at you!!!!

Good looking out! I forgot that Autobacs has helmets. I'm gonna have to head down there one of these weekends to pick one up. Then maybe pass by Green Girls or go see Thuy at the Lounge!

actually you do need a helmet at Irwindale if you hit 8.59 or lower times.

I want to take the M to the track but since as soon as I get my car back, I need to ship the headlights to NJ to get a retro done so figure another 2 more weeks of downtime for the M.. sucks but when it's all done, I'm gonna be lighting the road up-ahead from a mile away!!

either way, cross your fingers and hope I get the M back on Wednesday so we can go to Irwindale, Thursday!

edit: crap, forgot I have class Thursday night nevermind..

somehow I knew when talk of a "big head" came up some guy with a bimmer would chime in LMAO!!!!! You know I gotta say it bro! You know, jealous people talk ****...

But now that you mention it, I do remember seeing a few people with helmets... That dude with the slammed tailored bug that runs 5s has a full on race suit!!!! I don’t think it’s 8.59 though… lots run that with no helmet… maybe only once?…

I guess the fact that they let anything on the planet run on that track made me forget they have rules

Oh yeah... better have that big helmet for those bright BMW lights

Here are the rules for Irwindale: http://www.irwindalespeedway.com/dra...eet_rules.html the helmet rule is under Attire

and I should be getting a helmet once the M is all good to go

a retrofit on the M is a must! I just gotta make sure I take a before and after pic for you to see the results. Either way, here's a pix of what it'll look like so you can have an idea.

unless somehow you can get the LS projectors in there, I don't know what else can take the cake over the TFX retro

either way, let me know when you get yours, I'd love to see them
