Bastards!!!!! It was a PERFECT day for racing! 50 degrees and NO RAIN in sight.
A bunch of people were going to the Nissan performance event. Apparently they didn’t cancel the Roval - I don’t know why they cancelled the drag strip - phucking A-Holes!
I guess I should have looked here when I got up... I looked at the weather websites and off to the track.
20lbs of meet, 17lbs of macaroni and potato salad, and coleslaw, 12 huge muffins, 2 dozen cookies a table - ALL For Nothing!
Next rack day is Jan 5th... I hope the temps are as low as today... Maybe we can try the BBQ thing again but I'm not gonna even attempt it if there is rain anywhere near 1/5/08.
It would have been a perfect day for racing... I don’t know why they cancelled.
Oh well, Brownie Point to me, Tim, Vlad, Terry, and Terry’s son for showing up… I guess we’re lucky the track was closed – Terry’s son was ready to embarrass some G’s and a Corvette with his Kia!!!

This really sucks. We have to do the BBQ next time though...like Mike said, if rain isn't in sight. We can't let this get in our way of a mouth-watering BBQ at a drag strip
.

.
sigh.. this was the last chance for me to run my G
i wont have it when the next drag day comes around.
what gets me angry is that i didnt sleep the whole night in anticipation for this and the weather turned out to be perfect.. sunny and cooold :/

Pretty sure that sfi rating is enough, single layer fire jacket.
Would've been a great day.

I'm not too disappointed now - I just got off FullTilt and made $517 in 3 hours. I guess it was a good thing the track was closed

Edit - I just looked at the time of my last post... I guess it was less than 3 hrs

It evaporates pretty quickly - unless you have an airtight seal you'll lose some by the time the next rack day comes (Jan 5th)... I'm going back to Shawn to figure some things out and might need race gas if he re-tunes... let me know.

Good news is as long as you don’t gain a bunch of weight the jacket will be ready for you next time
Bad news (for me) is we didn’t get to talk about the "bribe" for 03-04 bumper
I'm writing my "Dear Santa" letter next...
