The issue you will have is drone. Loudness isn't affected by transmission type, but its the fact that with test pipes, the car drones more at around 1800-2200 RPM's. And the torque converters on autos usually lock up at around those RPM's which makes it more prone to drone than a 6MT (which you just roll by RPM's rather than staying locked in). I think MM mode would help you with that thought.

Well, I never had an SES light with just the exhaust. But I have had my SES light on for like almost a year from the test pipes. I got lazy and never installed (and finished drilling) the non-foulers

The only way to delete it is to reset your ECU (which it will come back on), or have it deleted with the OBD-II thought im not sure if that's a permanent fix.

Do you have non foulers? For HFC, im sure that would definitely keep the light off.

 

^I don't, it came on before when i first installed my HFC's but i deleted the code with the OBD-II code reader from wutozone and it never came on again after that. Autozone doesn;t rent it out anymore so i need to find one cause it will bother the fvck outta me if i dont hahaha.
