I think what 2C is trying to say is what judges look for at shows. It's not necessarily his opinion of what looks good or what he prefers and he's not putting down what others are saying on a personal level, but more of describing what judges at shows look for and what they use to determine what wins trophies.

 

yah but by saying what judges look at is implying that you actually want to go to shows or mod your car for a show and that is not everyone's worldview

 

We were on the topic of shows so I think thats why it was being discussed thats how cars are supposed to be in shows

 

yah but you can't just mock someone else's taste just because it's not like yours. If you ask me in my book you get more credit from me for having a nice clean car with a nice drop, some carefully chosen offsets and sizes and thats it. I don't think you have to add all of these extra things because it seems to me that by doing that a person isn't satisfied enough or is making up for the lack of other things. But the point is thats my view, thats some others views and there are completely different views so there is no point in being immature and mocking what someone else likes to that degree. I know a lot of times on the forums i'm pretty straight forward even if i dont like what they have done but to a certain degree it's what they like and who am I to say that what they like is not good?We are all mature adults here and are free to hold different opinion, there are plenty of other guys on this forum who hold the same taste g35heaven has and I don't see anything being said to them. Tell me if that makes sense

 

This ain't all about fvcking show man. He fvcking said it wheels was more important than handling and speed, that just made me flip, i guess from my modding experience? apparently to you it is all about shows and thats cool thats what you like but keep in mind that not everyone is modding for a trophy they do it for themselves. So what if he said wheels are more important than handling if that is not what you believe in then why should it matter?I can say anything to you, if it's not real why would it matter to you? If you know the truth or if you don't agree with it why does it matter what the other guy says? Be proud in what you do cus if you can't do that then why do it at all? Lol....shiet is gettin hectic. We all got our different styles n tastes, simple as that. I personally have to have a good balance of performance and looks..i like all around everything looking good not just one thing

This started from a comment to that Foo homie, and we both stated our opinions, done. Looks like my "mock" got to some people, if it offended you....hrrrm honestly so be it but for the friendship foshizzle my bad if it got to ya, its all good.

 

To clarify 2c is not strictly into shows. I guess the confusion lies is when I said he was referencing to shows. It just so happens he, and several other guys we know compete in shows so they have a general idea what judges look for. That is not to be confused with the type of cars one likes....2c mentioned underdogs...and i think he appreciates the uniqueness that people apply to their vehicles, which is what I seek. I like doing things that most people don't do or don't have. It's the way to stand out...i'm sure we still see things a bit differently, but it's not the same as only being interested in a show quality type car. show quality vs unique are different although they still can share similar aspects.

yah im pretty sure we all know what you're opinions are but at least you know that there are other opinions out there none of which are better than the other because they are judged on different scales. But I would suggest not flipping out like that because there are plenty of other ways to discuss an agreement, yah know?

I think the confusion was in how it was all worded you know? But yah at the end of the day im sure we can all agree on quality being better than quantity, a less is more type of deal
