Oh!! so now you got excuses, first you say no NA has been in the 13's but i showed you several who have seen the 13's. Don't get mad dude but you were wrong.

And you might as well stop wasting your time trying to convince me my G can't do 13's in the 1/4........i believe it can, maybe not on the 1st run but when i get the launch and reaction time down i should be there.

are you retarded??? You didn’t show me anything I'm not already aware of. I've posted in the thread you quoted. Whats wrong with you dude? This thread is about a track day at CA Speedway (AAA Dragway) - and you said you plan to go and hope to get in the 13s... I told you will do 14.2 and that no one has got in the 13s (and they haven’t)... the fastest at this track for an NA VQ is 14.002.

Don’t feel bad because you won’t be the one getting into the 13s - several of us have been trying for a few years. But throwing a quote form a thread that posts times from all over the country doesn’t have one bit of relevance to this thread and my statement.

I will have my G there - lets line up together... I will give you $40 if you break 14 - if you are willing to give me $40 when I beat you. BTW, I’m keeping it low so you don’t back away from the challenge… if you want to go higher, I’m open.

of course you don’t - because your 14.2 wouldn’t stand a chance... nice backpedal

Get you facts together before telling someone how wrong they are.

Mike and others who have been to CS know that getting in to the 13's at California Speedway is not easy. Stock, not possible. With bolt ons, possible if the density altitude & track conditions are right.

I ran 14.3 @ 99 in 3300+ DA's in my 06 Coupe 6MT with an exhaust, test pipes, & MD spacer. Many of the times you see for the Top 25 NA runs aren't anywhere close to those DA's.

Now that I have full bolt ons + tune, I know I can definitely get in the 13's in cold weather assuming the track is dry.

Just an an example. We had a member with a 5AT Coupe, Derek, who (iirc) ran mid 14's all day with his NA bolt ons. He moved to the east coast and managed a ~13.49 with the same car.

Henry, not only is it "not easy" - it hasn’t been done yet.... right now I'm pretty sure you and I are about the only ones that would have a chance - and that’s with great conditions (as you stated)... a few minor bolt-ons (especially without a tune) jut isn’t going to get into 13s.

I've been to the track and have heard guys say "yeah I'm hoping to get in 13s" - and they hate it when I tell them it won’t happen (last time out this happened with some G37s)... not only did they not get in 13s, they got beat by an 04 AT sedan

Anyway - until these guys get some track time under their belt in Fontana - they will still be chasing the dream on the forum.

Hah, I remember saying something like that. Except I was aiming for low 14's stock. Too bad it was 104 degrees.

It takes a whole drag day at CS to really realize that tracks around here just suck. I don't even want to mention LACR

I pray to the Drag Gods that one day, Terminal Island reopens

The Friday night test and tune would work in May or June.
