I've called to get my ECU done, but I always get a run around. No point in going since they can't tune my car.

it seems there is a riddle here somehow... why in the world would TS give you the run-around about tuning your ECU because you have an MT???... maybe you misunderstood something? Or you're not giving the whole story?

BTW, I've had TechnoSquares tune - it's a very good option.

I may attend the event. Although it maybe worthless considering I already have a TS reflash/tune and still experiencing performance issues. FYI, the dreaded hesitation / sputtering with Berk HFC's installed. Someone on the MY350Z boards had the same problem and supposedly UpRev was able to fix it. Why can't TS do the same?

Just inquiring.... if the G's & Z's don't take up all the space. Is it possible for them to let me (04 FX) in for a ecu dyno tune at this great price?

They said the ECU # they don't have and have to keep my ECU for like 2-3 weeks. Do you have a 6MT?

no, I don’t have an MT - however, I find it extremely hard to believe they have never tuned an MT.

what year is your car? It seems the ECU is the issue, not so much what transmission you have.

They told me something like this too when I called in a while back, this was for the same reason. They said I have to call in the dealer and get my ecu code or something like that, and they'll check to see if they could do it, if they couldn't for some what reason I couldn't understand (broken english), they would have to send my ecu to japan and it would be down for 2 weeks, after that they could do the tune. I'm so confused, Maybe someone could chim into this?

Visa. MC. Discover. AMEX.

KulG35: ok. now i know what they are asking for.. there are several different types of ECUs that they have programs for. They are requesting you to call the dealer to see which version ECU you have, so to cross-reference their database to see if they have the program for your specific trim/option/model G you have. this is standard operating procedure.. IF they don't have your program for your G, (depending on how new it is) then it may take longer, since they will have to send the ecu to japan to download the software phsyically off the computer..

hope that clarifies it..

a simple call to the dealer with your VIN will clarify it with technosquare.. thanks
