^You should have gotten a couple of confirmation emails with staging information and a link to the liability release form you need to print, sign and bring with you. Did you get an email from FL?

 

Oh chit...I thought John was talking about something else. Thought fatlace posted up a thread or something with a list of so cal's best....wow, such a blonde moment, haha.... yeah I got those confirmation emails. Thanks for knocking some sense into me. Only got 5 hrs of sleep so I could get to the DMV early.

My question: I have a question about roll out. Will we be able to roll out after the awards ceremony or do we have to wait until the drift competition is over?

FL response: We don't have 100% control of the gate, but we'll do our best let people out early.

 

Vegas Motor Speedway had control over the gates since we were parked right were the stands were so people couldn't just walk in. That's why we were stuck.

 

also, it seemed like the whole area near the speedway was flat and smooth so I don't think it'll be too hard to find a meeting spot

 

Yeah, it's quite flat over there. I would say we could meet at my house but it's a bit out of the way for you guys. The speedway is literally off the 605. If you exit the freeway going towards the speedway there really isn't much space to meet up nearby since it's just a long stretch of road. Go the opposite way and it's still a long stretch of road, but there may be some small side streets. I'll scope the area out either today or tomorrow and get back to you guys.

 

I'm okay with meeting at your house, Levon. Doesn't matter to me. I'm driving from BFE anyway
