This is a busy time of year on the the So Cal event calender. Huntington meet was fun & we now have the Church Dyno Day , VQ 1/4mile shoot out , Sedan GTG 3 , Lets just make it a G35 Motorsports Summer!

My buddies & Maxx Grip Events are doing another Willow Springs Event,
This time on the streets of willow ,

http://www.maxgripevents.com/registration.html

I'm now officially hooked on road race, I'm gonna do a half day for 110.00$

The half day is plenty of time on the track! About 4 hours ! Perfect for me!!!

The organization is top notch, Professional instruction provided , Wanna see your G perform ..... Let the professional drive your G (They show you the fastest approach & exit lines) . Or you drive while he instructs you shot gun ! I suggest you let them drive 2 or 3 laps for the instruction/ thrill!

You guys that got suspensions , get on this one ..... Smaller track= less wear on tires ,slower speeds ,
Get on the list

This is really expensive.... 4 hours of track time is not worth the price. However, in terms of cost per minute of track time, it's cheap, but you're not gonna get the most out of this per dollar spent.

However, 30 minutes of downtime between 30 minute sessions is:

1. extremely fatiguing to the driver; most drivers are done after 4 20-25 minute sessions
2. doesn't give the car time to cool.

I'd rather pay half and get half the track time...

Tacky to post other links? Max Grip isn't a sponsor here to begin with.

I'd be more than willing to take you on at the track

I'm simply stating that a half hour cooldown between sessions is not enough.

I don't know very many amateur drivers, let alone newbies, who can handle 4 hours of on-track time without a serious loss of judgement. Sure you get more track time, but diminishing returns. The 2nd piece of cake is never as good as the first.

Can I appreciate low car counts? Sure. Can I appreciate extra seat time? Of course. Do I want to drive for 4 hours in 100 degree weather? Not really.

I just simply posted links to every other established socal HPDE organizer.

Now that I think about it, I remember getting a flyer from Aram at the HB meet a few years ago.

He's still not offering timing is he? Glad to see he's growing and running more events, but unfortunately, his events are a test day to me without AMB.

The other 3 organizers are indirect competitors... but how does he feel about http://www.speeddistrict.com/? They also offer a "premium price premium event" type of deal.

I don't even know where to start.
1. I started a thread on MY experience with Maxx Grip.which was top notch

2.It was over 100 degrees. I was in no way fatigued. There were lots of guys at the event that I spoke to.no one looked or even mentioned being fatigued.

3. The G held up perfectly. No problems . With the car at all. AS a matter of fact. There were no breakdowns at all.

3. As a noob I had a blast.

4. UR on a G 35 site and you don't even have a G

So every thing that u said happened at my event. Did not happen. I know cause I was there. Where were u. You are probably at an event exactly like the one you just described.

So the moral of the story is stop talking out of the side of your neck.

What did I say happened at your event? I never claimed to be there, nor conveyed any hearsay.

1. Have you run with any other organization before?

2. I find that hard to believe, unless you're just cruising around the track. I'm fatigued after 10 laps.

3. Great. That's what I want to hear.

4. Dig deeper.

Is it so bad that I merely present more options?

Oh, and I should add, SoWS is generally harder on your tires, and MUCH harder on brakes.

Front left tire excluded.
