most indoor shows are day before roll-in. Mainly due to scheduling, keeping things organized and fire codes. Especially shows of this calibur that fill the whole convention center. The show also starts at 11am on Sunday, which would make it almost impossible to get everyone including show cars and vendor setups situated and ready for the early start.
Out of curiosity, why is it that you dont like day before roll in? When i first started showing, i didnt like doing it either, but after a few shows, it seems a lot easier now. Since i show my daily driver, it was kinda hard with getting to and from the location, but since its a sunday show and not saturday, it helps out a lot imo...

Last indoor show I entered in was Spocom last year and that was same day roll in. I believe the last HIN event was also day before and same day roll in. But I understand why some shows do day before.
I don't like it for the same reasons, I show my only car and the shows are typically and hour away from me, so I can't just drop my car off and walk home. The majority of my friends also live about an hour away so it's hard for me to get somone to drive me back to my house, pick me up the next day, and take me to the show. Honestly, I'd rather have to roll in at 6 AM than the day before.
I'll see what I can do to attend this one though.

i totally understand. Im lucky LB convention center and Anaheim convention center are both about 15-25 mins away from me.
I did spocom last year also, that show started at 6pm, so it was easier to do same day roll in. With the show, the floor has to be cleared because the fire marshal comes in and does his walk through, normally takes a couple hours and nobody is allowed to be inside. So basically since our show starts at 11am roll in would have to be done by 9am.
what do you think about getting a hotel room? I was going to block off some rooms at Hyatt which is next door and a few other hotels. I figured for the people not so local it might help out and that part of LB is pretty cool, with the Pike, Aquarium, Pine St. etc. so you could actually make a weekend out of it. But then i checked the websites like hotels.com and the rate online was cheaper than the rate the hotel gave me to block off the rooms. I know that adds another expense to showing, but thought it could be a good alternative for some people...

I've considered staying at a nearby hotel for a night, just not sure if it's worth the $100+ for registration and room, lol. Some of my team members might be showing, maybe I can crash at their place for the night.
Yeah they're my wheels in that finish. Nice! Classic wheels. I have an Alliance 8/6pot bbk in anodized gold.
