Where do you get your alignment?

Ok it's been a while since I posted....Just wanted to know of a good, respectable place to get my alignment done. Preferably on the Southwest side of town. Thanks in advance for the input!

BTW...Could someone explain the lifetime alignment deal? Is that pretty much whenever you feel like getting it aligned you can? Thanks again!

Firestone..AKA grant haha. It's been less than two months, and I'll be there for my 3rd alignment.

I got lifetime alignment agreements on all three of my cars with Firestone.
I use the one down the street from you Ryan.
Lifetime alignment with Firestone is whenever you want it done, for life! Pretty good deal with these Houston roads.

Dave and Tomcat,

Awesome! So does it only work for the car you currently have? Is the alignment transferrable to a different car? How much did you pay?

BTW - How ya been Dave? Yeah i haven't been on here for a while I've been so busy with work. I don't even want to look at a computer when I'm home...Hahahah

too bad that it's not transferable to another car.

Its not technically, but I have 4 cars with lifetime at firestone, so I know the manager and he gave me a discount on the G.

Good for only the car it was purchased for. I think I paid around $140 for the Lifetime agreement.

I don't know if its top notch, but all my cars seem to drive straight down the road after the alignment.... Actually, when I had my Honda aligned there, they gave it back to me with a strong pull to the right. I took it back the next weekend and said, "WTF, I paid for a LT alignment and it still pulls. " So the guy looks at the specs and says, of course it does, see here.. the caster/camper/whateveritwas is out of specs and there is no adjustment for this on the Honda. I made them put a shim kit on the Honda to bring it back into spec. So....these guys only do what is minimially required. But I still think its a good deal.

Thanks guys for the reply! Although, what Cato said about Firestone doing minimal work brings some concern to me. How about NTB or Discount tires? Anyone been there? I know there's a place called Southwest Alignment on Richmond but I'm not sure about the place.

I have had NTB do my car as well. Its around $75-90 good for a year. I don't like the way they treat the Maxima rear sway bar, they lift the car against the sway bar, so I don't go there anymore. They really don't care about what they are doing.

It all depends which one you go to. I can say that the one in Stafford on Murphy road does good work.
