The BEST event in Texas is going to take place near Austin at the end of January, The Raging Bull Texas Stampede. This will be a weekend event lasting 450 miles of the best, "funnest", roads in Texas. You can run it at almost any pace, from "full tilt boogie" to grandmas Sunday drive.

For some reason the website is down right now, but it may be back up shortly.

What was previously open to only NISSAN/Infiniti cars, is now open to all makes of sports cars. However, the limit is 25 entrants. We went last year and had a blast. Fun, fast cars, fast driving, food, and good friends. What more can you ask for.

When are you planning on moving down here? We just had a Z&G meet a few weeks ago. Our first meet turned out pretty good, there was about 15 cars. Some from san antonio and austin. Check out the texas thread over at my350z. Alot more san antonio stuff posted over there.

Yeah, but if you like snow, you will be terribly disappointed.

I just got back from driving from Las Vegas to Ft. Irwin Ca. I am SO glad to be back in Texas driving on Texas roads! The roads in Nevada and CA were the PITS!

Ok I'm now in San Antonio and am looking for a place. I'm lookin to the NE and the NW. If anyone knows any good spots let me know. I'm currently looking at Olympia Hills area in Live Oak, but nothing is set up yet. I heard there was gonna be another meet in Early Feb. Let me know when and where and I'll be there.

Talk about some of the worst roads, look at the highway expansions there in the valley. It will take about 3 years, or much longer, to expand one mile. That is why I will no longer drive my G35 down to the valley any longer. I'd rather leave my car at hobby airport for a week and fly to Harlingen on Southwest. I have plenty of vehicles, in 95% of my family, to drive while I'm down south.
