HKS Ti Exhaust Install

anyone down to help me install the HKS Hi-Power exhaust on friday? i plan on doing it at my house but if someone has better tools and more know how ill drive to your house?? i like to do things myself but i've never done an exhaust install so im down for some insight

You plan on using jacks to get the car up? If so that is not a fun job, installed mine on my back and it was a pain. Good luck though and if you have any questions let me know.

yeah, jack stands it is. from what im told im looking at about a 3 to 4 hour job and getting the stock exhaust off is the hardest part, any truth to that? any tips you can give me to make it easier would be great

I would love to help, but I am already installing an MREV on a Z, it's not to bad if you have tools. If you don't have power tools, then get a breaker bar. I did mine on jackstands, not too bad, but I also put in cat's ......that was a b!tch.

Yeah its a pain trying to get the stock exhaust off. If you have someone to hand parts to and give you parts, this will make the install alot easier. But once its done it will be worth it.

why dont you just take it to shop??.........I have this one tire shop by the house that will let you use there lift for a price and if they are not using it..............They even let me use there tools......I was doing a header install on one of my older cars.....
I guess Im getting to old to be under cars....................

Exhaust install.........

I don't like laying on my back for 2 to 3 hours........just isn't fun anymore!
Either find a lift or have a "good" muffler shop install it for you.....normal
charge is $100 plus they can weld up any leaks after install. Hope you like
the system after it's up and running!

It takes less than 2 hours. I just took my car down to Austin to MJ_g35 and he did a great install.

it takes about 3 - 4 using jacks. a lift will cut the time in half. super shick and i have done about 3 exhaust install. 1 HKS, 1 Fast intensions, 1 oem. too bad we are quite far from you.
