My guess is that we will hand out near the bridge for about 30 or 40 minutes, to wait for everyone to arrive and take pictures, then we'll head to the County Line Restaurant. So if you're running late and don't see us at the side or under the bridge head to the restaurant (intersection of 2222 and 360) and look for us there. Most of you have my number so give me a call if you need to.

It was good to see so many new faces on Saturday along with some repeat members. I'm happy to say that we are off to a good start. Tomorrow I will post the meeting minutes to inform everyone of what took place on Saturday.

The Meet took place as scheduled near the 360 Bridge. We visited for about 40 minutes waiting for everyone to arrive, and then we moved on to the County Line Restaurant to discuss the forming of a formal Austin G club. We had 9 members show up and 2 guests.

• We voted on a name and decided on Centex VQ. It stands for Central Texas VQ. We thought this would be a good name since it includes all cities near Austin like Round Rock, Pflugerville, Buda…etc…etc

• We will have our own web site that is already in the works courtesy of Tai “Kream”. The address will be Centexvq.com. Ideas for the web page include: A members bio page with pictures of their choosing, a facts sheet that includes all specs of the G35, G37 vehicles. This would eliminate questions like “what tires size should I get with 20” rims?...etc… If you know about web page design please contact myself or “Kream” This webpage is in no way meant to compete with G35driver.com.

• We are currently designing a logo, please feel free to submit a design and let me know so that we may consider it when voting. We will probably vote on one design on our next meet or it will be posted as a thread for all to view.

• We decided that most of our meets will take place on the second Saturday of every month at 1p.m. The location is subject to change. Our next meet will take place at the 6th floor of Stone Bridge Plaza parking garage. (Behind the Baby A’s north. Look for a new thread soon)

• We discussed the Possibility of a meet at the Austin track. "The_Scooch" Is looking into it and will let us know the details soon.

• There is talk of having a Texas Meet sometime in Spring or Summer of 08 and Austin is a good midpoint for a Texas wide meet. We would like to be better organized soon so that we may play a big role in this event. This would be a good opportunity for Austin, Houston and Dallas G owners to get together...maybe we can organize a track day.

• If you have any input to add please let me know.
