Has anyone here changed their brakes themselves? I have changed pads and rotors on my old tacoma, but its been a while. I wanted to see if anyone, that knows what they are doing, can lend me a hand. I have some stoptech replacement slotted rotors and project mu pad that should be here on Thurs or Fri. and my car is getting a little scary to ride in... Maybe an install meet this sunday??

whats up fellas? i figured i would post in here now to try to get to know everyone in the l.a. area. i'm currently in the army stationed in cali, and im getting out in a few months. i was just wondering who was around the slidell area b/c that is where i'm going back to...i have a 04' dg 6mt coupe with a few mods done. the first thing i want to do when i get back is put my kuruma front and impul sides on. any input on where i should take the car to get painted and installed? thanks alot. darren

I don't have any experience with body shops in the area, hopefully someone else will chime in...you may have to drive an hour or two from slidell to find a decent shop.

I just changed out my front Brembo brakes, that guy charged me $90 w/ the brakes but if you have your own brakes it shouldn't be that much. It only took him 15 or 20 mins to change it out...... I would help you change it but if I take the Brembos apart I might not know how to put it back together...haha

By any chance would anyone be interested in a set of staggered 20" Sevas S-55 in the silver finish in great condition? Here are the specs:
