The new firmware is out for those who wanted to try it on their AP. However, it didn't work on my car. Here's the link anyway

Joe @ Cobb was finally able to get the firmware to work with my car. If you have an AP and is having similar problem with me. You can download the latest firmware on the link I provided above.

I'll strap my car on the dyno tomorrow and see if there are any gains.

Just dynoed the car today on before and after the AP. The gain with the AP is approximately 8rwhp. It dynoed 230rwhp before the AP. After the install, it dynoed at 238rwhp. The map still need some work but overall is pretty flat on the a/f ratio.

All I have is the catback exhaust. I'm not sure how many more hp I would gain with an intake. Really, I'm only looking for the gain. The gain is across the entire 2500-6800rpm range (5-8rwhp). Also, the dyno is a mustang dyno so it reads 5-8% lower than a dynojet. I also did a 1/4mile simulation on the dyno. I was running 14.8@95mph before the AP, this morning, I ran 14.1@97.5mph. The gain is definately there.

Isn't there a meet this weekend? If so, I'm more than happy to bring it out for anyone who is interested in seeing the AP.

COBB discontinued all support for the G35, so if you really want one you'll have to find it used. Pretty much the only game in town for NA tuning is Uprev, and its awesome.

Feel free to PM me with any specific questions

So, is this as good as the Cobb is? Can you switch Maps like the Cobb? It looks like it just plugs into your ECU? So is there no extra memory to store maps then?

Its better. Way easier to tune with better results. It connects with the ECU via the OBD2 port, and once you have it reflashed you can remove it and just drive around.. the tune and all 5 maps will be stored in the ECU

5 Maps? What are the 5 Maps? They come with maps already installed? I guess I am a little slow today, but how does it know what I have done to my car? By telling my ECU I have stuff done to it, that I don't could be detrimental to my cars health correct? Also, looks like it is a simple Plug and play install. I am thinking it will be easy to put in right? any hidden tricks to install here?

You get a total of 5 maps that can be set up, and you switch through them using the cruise control buttons.

You don't really "install" anything just reflash the ecu with your laptop and a tune that is custom made for you by the tuner. All Uprev tunes are custom made based on your mods, car, the tuners experience, and whatever the datalogs or dyno chart tells them

I get it now. I don't know why PM is not working, it is enabled and have been receiving pms from others. Bottom line You believe it is better than Cobb. You trust your car with this I take it? Also Thanks you very much for taking the time to make sure I understood everything.

I do. My G35 was tuned NA with Osiris, then at 400whp on stock block twin turbo, then at 570 whp with a built bottom end and bigger twins, and now my M45 is tuned NA. Its great stuff. I still can't PM you, shoot me an email to seymore4@gmail.com I got a few options I'll talk you through
