G35 Cobb Accessport is finally out!!
I just find out today that the Accessport is out for the G35. Mine should be here by the end of this week or early next week. I'm probably the first in DFW to have one. I will provide dyno charts on before and after to see if there are any improvements next week.

Interrested to se how this does... but mainy for FI guys. I think there are only like 8 boxes you can fill in aren't there? That's 1000 RPM for adjustment of fuel and timing, etc... I don't think its exact/specific enough for turbo and sc guys... but like I said... I've been wanting to hear good things about this.
So report back!

here's the update:
Just try to install the Accessport in a 03 G35 coupe M/T. The first problem that I came up with was that there were no maps in the accessport. So I tried to install the maps provided in the CD. The CD that came with the product has the AP Manager 1.1.3.8. After talking to the tech support, The G35 requires 1.1.4.2. Additionally, the CD only has maps for the 350Z. Once I installed the 1.1.4.2 and G35 basemaps onto my computer from this forum, I was able to load all the basemap to the accessport. When I try to install the Accessport to the ECU, It went through the entire process on "saving factory map" up to 100% then it goes back to the install menu. After several attempts, I called the Tech support letting him know the issues I was experiencing. He said that he will get back to me on Monday. I do want to add that for some reason (after attempting to reflash), it throws a code for "P0605 Internal Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) ErroR ". I clear it several times thinking that it may be contributing to the install failure. However, it did the same thing everytime I tried to reflash the ECU.

Talked to Chris @ Cobb. He said that they will release a new firmware for those that are affected on Wednesday or Thursday. Apparently, this is a similar problem they ran into with the 350Z. There were some ECU ROM (about 24 of them) for the G35 that may not be on their list and recognize in their firmware. Once they added those in there, we should be okay.

This is not true at all. The accessport essentially is just a reflash that allows you to get into every parameters that the factory PCM has. I have the pro tuner softare for the Rx8 and have also played with the pro tuner software for the Subaru, There were more parameters in there than most of the standalone. (1-2 gear a/f and timing table), (3-4 gear a/f and timing table), (5-6 gear a/f and timing table), (VE table), maf calibration table, idle, fan speed, VSS, drive-by wire table, Variable Cam table.... just to name a few.
If you have seem Ls1 or Ls2 edit software interface, Accessport is very similar to the Ls1edit/hp tuner. it basically unleash everything that has adjustment to the end user from the factory PCM. Additionally, all tables are user definable so you can change the range from X to Y..... Typically, you are looking at a 20x20 per table (400 data points each). I have seen as much as 24x26 table in other factory PCM so there are plenty of adjustment. You can definately spend days/months playing with every cell.
Of course, you won't have the ability to change anything with the accessport unless you have the street tuner or the pro tuner software. Accessport is just a media that allows you to change maps between different setup based on your tuner and/or basemap provided by Cobb tuning.

16x16 is definately much better but still kinda small. However, for those who wanted to go standalone and still be able to tune the car themselves (unlike the FCON Pro). There is also an alternative (Hydra EMS) that has a 32x32 table and has been proven to work very well from all the cars I tuned so far.
