Some people dont want to go near the Galleria area.

I think we should have it at Fountains.

 

Where is the "Fountains"? I kmow the name but I can't think of where that area is.

Also, I "might" drive into the galleria area this evening. If anyone has yahoo, my screen name is "srhtx". I will go into that area if its not raining around 9:30PM.

 

Fountains is off of 59 and W. Airport. Its a strip mall, you cant miss it. Theres Boarders, Oshmans, Old Navy, Etc....

I dont know what im doing tonight i might go to the SW meet. Thats by West Oaks mall. Its at the parking lot fo Starbucks and Ross.

 

West Oaks area is not bad. I've tried to get people over there for a while. I've only meet one person.

What time would you be going over to the West Oaks area?

I went out and made one trip from the Galleria to West Oaks. I passed one coupe. It was between Kirkwood and Hwy 6.

 

Ya i was there last night and then i left around 11.

 

Well, if you saw my car, it had a stillen muffler on it. Me sedan is Desert Plat.

 

I dont think is saw you because i didnt see any infiniti's out there. PM me the next time you go out there and we can meet up.

Fountains is a nice area to meet up, but I don't think its a good idea. We need a good centralize location that way it can be pretty much an even drive for everyone. We had it at the Galleria area for one reason... the driving distance wasn't dominate to one particular side of Houston. The area is nice, and the security guard there doesn't mind us having meets there.

West Oaks, HWY 6, that area is by the SW meet, and I really don't like meeting up with a bunch of ricers. This is a g35 meet and it should be that way... and plus that area is way out West for a lot of people, Galleria is more centered. Easier to get via 610, or 59... Remember guys think about other people too. I'm sure they wouldn't want to meet up in an area filled with ricers doing burnouts, revving there engines and doing other stupid crap.

Feel free to leave suggestions... we can all come up with something that everyone is willing to agree on.

 

However fountains would be a cool spot for maybe a mini g35 meet for ppl in the Sugar Land area, but for the rest of Houston it wouldn't be a good idea. Not unless people wouldn't mind driving to the Fountains...

However, let's see what people think, offer some feedback.

 

Anyone else going to post up any ideas? I agree about the equal driving unless if people dont mind. It will be too far for people in North that want to come meet.

My vote is for Galleria area. Its equal to everyone and everyone knows where it is.

 

Well,

I went to the galleria twice (Friday & Saturday) and talked to no one. Friday night, I parked next to a coupe at the Starbucks location. I did not know who the owner of that coupe was. It was also there Saturday evening as we.. In fact, I pulled into the parking lot right behind it and drove around the lot. There were two other coupes in the area but, no one ever came out of flaged me down.

To that point, I am refusing or driving to that area again "unless" people advise me that they will be there and would like to talk. To try and get a group of other G35s OR Nissan 350Zs in the area.

 

Dont worry i know how that feels. I will meet you up and i will let you know when i will have time to go. It will be a Saturday night but dont know which saturday. I will PM you or post.
