Definately missing the G ride alot. I have a new toy that I can't leave well enough alone without modding. It is an 04 GTI 1.8 litre Turbo. Boy is this thing fun and surprisingly fast (not as fast as the G). VW really engineered these cars well. FWD and not a hint of torque steer. I will see if I can post some pics

I thought you got rid of the G to ride that 1 cylinder
