Houston - Suspension issues

Hello Everyone,

I am fighting with Infiniti Corp about my G Sedan. Its always, and still does, had interior issues. NOW, my G is having suspension issues.

I have taken it to West Houston Inf (2) times so far. They clamp down the suspension to where its tight and correct. Within two days of having my G back, it starts doing the same thing.

What I would like to know is are any of you about to hear the shocks rattle when you drive along any where?

What I wish to do is meet up with other G Sedan owners and drive them around the block or something to see if I can hear you vehicle doing the same thing.

Please drop me a line at: srhtx@yahoo.com

I will respond back to you. I advised Infiniti Corp that I was not going to take my car back to any Infiniti dealerships until I was able to test things on my own. I also advised them that I would drive my car back to San Antonio, TX to the dealership there. They were able to hear things better than the dealerships in the Houston area.

I met Steve yesterday and we drove his sedan around trying to hear
a noise he has been complaining about for awhile. I didn't hear the one
he wanted me to hear, but I heard a squeek in his that have in mine.
Every time we hit a speed bump in the parking garage we were using, a
body squeek was heard. Now he is really pissed off! Hehe. I believe all
the 2003s have this squeek. Any one else hear it? It seems to happen
when one wheel is bumped higher that the others, like when you hit a
speed bump with one front tire, avoiding it with the other. I had mine in a
few months ago for a fix. It was fixed for less than one week before it
came back.

Cato,

Now I am MAD at YOU for pointing out that noise to me. NOW I am hearing that noise more and more. Thanks! LOL

Can I just drive my G off a bridge or something? Also Cato, what was that item you advised me to get for my G? I want more power in my car.

I wish I could ride with each of you to Austin but, I have too many business things to take care of this week and next.

Also, does anyone else have a lot of noise from their sunroof? Cato's was quiet compared to mine. squeek, squeek and never ending squeek.

Steve,

It's the 350Z intake duct I have coupled to my Stillen HiFlow AirBox that you
are referring to. It has been discussed for several years here on G35Drivers.com.
It provides a driect straight shot of intake air into the throttle body,
vs the baffeled and muted air the G35 intake provides. It is
speculated that the 350Z tube alone provides around 5 HP. I got mine from
everythingG35.com. Jason runs the site and is great to deal with. It cost
me slightly less than $70 for the tube delivered to my door.
I just did a google search on "everythingg35.com" and found the
web site. They sell the tube for $74.99, it is called the Nissan OEM Z Tube on
page 3 of the "Engine Upgrades" thread. Just get it! .

Silly thought, but you wouldn't have sunglasses in the holder that vibrates when you drive? I have clips which kinda vibrates that would mislead a person to think its the roof.

Also, consider taking your car to Southwest. I had 5 rattles and they fixed all 5 of them. Assuming you can have the noise replicate when the tec test drives it. To be sure they fix it, drive with them or drive them and point it out to them. That's what I did and they never questioned my complaints.

GL.

Yeah, I'm aware of the glasses in the sunglass holder rattle. I figured that one
out a long time ago. Steve has a sunroof that does indeed make noise, not a
rattle. More like creaking.

Cato,

My G is now doing it bigtime. I guess I will have to use a vacation day and take it to another dealership for them to drive it and review it BUT I wish someone else would like to drive it, even you Cato, so I could let you hear what its doing.

Cato, I will drive towards your place when I know the car is doing it BEFORE I meet up with you again.
