Another thing to consider is the type of people like Silver04 mentioned. But more importantly, its not the people as much as how people view their car. There IS a reason why SoCal is the leader in car mod's. I bet you would get more people to waive at you then you would see someone driving a G that had a mod in it.

But we all know the real reason people don't acknowledge each other...if you look over you might get shot!

I used to have an acura-cl and most of us would recognize each other from the forums. Motly because of a small decal in the rear half-window that said a-cl.com . a good way to raise money for the server too! just a suggestion.

oh and a friend from Houston and myself are trying to get a joint deal on a G35 coupe in DFW or Houston. If you guys owuldn't mind checking out my thread, I'd appreciate it.

I didn't realize the houston G owners had their own forum, I will be stopping by to see what's going on from now on

I live in First Colony and work for Baker Hughes on Airport Blvd, off 59 in Sugar Land.

have any of you in this forum added the hydrazine 3/8 or 1/2" spacer yet? I would like your opinion on the install and performance.

I will be sure to acknowledge any other g's I see on the road

Hey schiffdog....give me a wave, I will be happy to wave back. I do understand what you mean. I try to say hi, but many don't even look over. Hell, I always look at other G35s...would think others would do the same.

Hey max - I'm in the galleria area and I should have my 3/8" plenum on Wednesday and my ztube/k&n drop in tuesday.

I'll be working on the G this weekend, so I will let you know how it goes - I actually just hit 1200 miles on my car this weekend so I have gotten to play a little harder. It will be interesting to see how the car drives after.

I just hit 1000 miles this weekend....I added the z tube a week ago and my k&N will go in one day this week, added clears last weekend. Did you get in on the group buy for the spacer? I have gotten a price from hydrazine but have been waiting to see some results for the 3/8" on a basic stock G. I have been told that the install is easy, good luck and keep me posted

thanks

the only thing that sucks, is all the rain since I bought the G. Hopefully it will clear up eventually. I added clears about 2 weeks ago.
Yeah - Tony(hydrazine) hooked me up with the GB on the spacer, so I'm excited to get it and see how it goes. How long did it take you to put in that Z tube? I'll be doing all of it this saturday.

By the way, I work for Baker too - @ corp.

thats great if you got the GB price....it will cost me 215 + 10 for shipping, but if it actually adds a little more punch it is well worth it. I am more interested in adding low end torque/response than picking up a few top-end hp since this is my daily driver.
the z tube took about 30 minutes....it was the first actual 'underhood' work I had done in a few years....so I took it slow and kept the instruction pics close at hand now that I have done it, I could probably easily replace the tube in 15 minutes.

hey wassup everyone, i agree, lots of stuck up g owners in houston and also the amount of activity we have in the south region compared to the rest is sad , not sure why there's not much g enthusiasm down in our area... its good to see we have a few proud g owners...

would love to get another g meet going, its about time we had another one. The last one we had was last year in the fall i believe, we really need to get things rolling again and prepare for the spring and summer months coming up. I know there's a lot of g owners out there now...

not to mention i had bird poop on my car 3 out of 5 days of this week at work, its like so much bad luck for me... i park away from trees too, not sure why they pick my car to poop on, sigh... now theres a big stain on my car that i cant seem to get rid off, i even washed it right away after work, but still you can see the stain it left behind on the paint. Damn birds, i hate them.

My car is filthy because of all this rain. It sucks - it looks like I drive a DG coupe, not an IP one.
