I'm been back and forth to this regional forum and I can tell you that there just isn't much interest when it comes to meets, gatherings, etc... we've tried to get things together a few times, but things never materialize...

I've had my G for over a year and a half and have only been to one semi-meet before in Houston (I live in El Campo, btw - about an hour south-west on 59)... if ya'll think there's enough interest, I wouldn't mind trying to get together at all during one of the next upcoming weekends... (I never shy away from showing off my car )

Hey, what's up Houston owners? I agree some people are snobs. I moved to Dallas, and it's kind of the same here. A lot of old slow drivers in Gs. The other day some other coupe tried to show me up and almost ran me off the road. Why? Some punk kid - that's why.

OK....so the sun is out and it's beautiful day when in my rearview I see a dark colored sedan pulling up on me. OH BOY! It's a black sedan, 2003-2004
with some really nice wheels on it and really clean. Mine is fairly clean also so the twilight blue besides the black really looked great. I pull hard and put some
distance between us. At the light he pulls past me in the opposite lane. We both turn to eachother and give a thumps up! Priceless.......

destrega5, I've seen one here in SA as well. a black one, loaded on 19s. that car is f-ckin pimp! it came to our dealership a couple weeks ago and I went up front and checked it out. super clean. second best car I've ever touched and admired, right behind Lambo's (sorry but nothing beats Lambo's for me).

man i know how it is here in houston. i live over in katy right on the edge of Cinco Ranch. And man everyone over here is an old person or a mom. The only other kid i know around in this area that drives a G is in a sedan. Every morning i go to school at the same time and see the exact same G coupe everyday. I flash my lights everytime and never get any response back i dont what it is some people.

hey im down for a meet anytime someone wants to organzie one. I know the houston Z club is getting together this friday for their monthly cruise to HRP from the hooters off 45 south and nasa rd 1. check it out at www.houston-imports.com/forums/ and then go to the houtson metro section and look for the march 25th z cruise thread to get all of the details.

ive been thinking about going to Underground Graphics and get a houston G club sticker made to put on my car. Would anyone else be willing to go in on this with me?

hey i live right by nasa road, lol that's my area. i'm not sure what hrp is though. uggh i don't like HI forums, too many ricers from my old high school are on it that still manage to be snobby and all they own are IS's.

o yes, i think i'm ready for the open road now!! i'm pretty good with manual. it took me a week, but i'm finally good. i'm just not sure about heavy traffic and entrances to strip malls. too steep for me lol.
