as of saturday it's official, Livyathan's back. back in Austin and loving it. living out on 620 nearly to mansfield Damn area. great palce though I'm right on the border for sprint PCS coverage so I loose the signal a lot. it's worth it though

Hmm.... maybe this could spark a "meet-up" at the Y in Oak Hill at Albertsons this Saturday night? have the G's show up and represent among all the other cars out there. Went out a few weeks ago, and it was pretty cool.... imports, domestics, and plain old "homemade hot rods".

Something to think about, I suppose....

 

what time does everyone meet there and how do I get there from the 183/620 area? this saturday evening I may be in San Antonio but after that I'm in for and Austin G gathering

 

Fastest way would be taking 183 back to Mopac, then heading south into southwest Austin... take the 290/71 "split" off of Mopac and that'll put you into Oak Hill. Through one light, and then you'll be at the "Y" and able to see the Albertson's parking lot. You can take the yeild there as if you were going to head down HWY 71, or stay straight as if heading out 290 (it's not a superhighway at this point.. more like a 2 each way street)... either way has access into the parking lot.

I stopped by at around 7 or so last time, but I'd probably go later this time... like 8:30 or 9.

i know this is off topic, but does anyone know of a place in austin that will do custom install for aftermarket navi in the G ? Anyone had experience with this?

 

don't know ya but welcome back!!! I used to live at Jefferson Center on Parmer near 620. Just moved to a house off of mopac and Northland. Near the 2222 curve off. Easy access to some awesome driving ^.^.
