My family is in Austin.and little brother goes to UT. I have yet to drive my G to Austin....but I know a few guys here in Houston that would luv to meet up.....

Capital Z of Texas is hosting a BBQ and Show & Shine on Saturday August 30, 2003 at Northwest District Park (7000 Ardath St.). We have reserved picnic area C. Details are as follows:
BBQ will be served from 11:00am - 1:00 pm. Cost is $10/plate or $8/plate for current club members and will include water, soda, & tea. On the menu will be BBQ chicken, Elgin Sausage, spanish rice, beans, bread, corn on the cob (depending on availability), and all the fixins.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place for the show & shine. Any and all vehicles are eligible to enter the show & shine. Winners will be determined by people's choice voting to be turned in by 2:00pm. Awards will be announced at 2:30pm. Raffle prizes will be given out after the awards presentation.
If you would like to join us for this event, please rsvp to myself and I will add you to the reservation list. It is important that you rsvp so that we may prepare enough food for everyone.

Rodel, do you have a car you are going to enter at Rudys? I am entering mine. Has Mike done anything new to his G yet?

sounds good, I've been living in Texas for a year now and have yet to go to Austin. I'm down. post up some details on the board... any other houstonians wanna make it a caravan let me know...

Just noticed this thread....
I'll be entering my Z32 as well as a 03 G35 coupe at the car show in September. We'll probably have just the G out at the BBQ on the 30th. Not really sure if Mike has done anything with his G yet.
