Customs $ounds does great work=$$$. However I am a real big advocate of doing everything myself. I know finding the time is the big issue but that is something I just deal with.

I look to buy a Coupe soon. I probably will save the equity hit and buy an 03 as I look to drop a TT kit ( not pre-kitted) and build the engine. I have not found 1 shop in Austin that I would let work on my car. I played that game with my ZTT and paid dearly.

Short answer: Why not do it yourself? Great to learn and the pride you feel when it is complete is....

Have any of these places that a few ppl have mentioned actually INSTALLED the double din navi for the G35 specifically? I don't want to have to explain everything that has to do with the JDM parts.

Has anyone in Austin installed their aftermarket double din navi in the G? Please let me know where you did it. I don't trust myself in doing this.

What turbo kit was on your IS300? I used to have one (not turboed though ), and I remember someone I met at a ProLexAustin meet over two years ago that had a blue IS300 they were about to turbo with a PFS kit. Was that you? I used to have a '02 GGP E-shift, and my SN over at is300.net was Dernick.

I got my G35 Coupe back in April. My dad (yes, I"m still a spoiled college kid ) bought a Mercedes SL65, and everyone in my family traded cars. His old car went to my mom, and her car went to my younger brother that just went off to school in Oklahoma. They had to keep the SUV my brother drove seeing as all they had left at home were two roadsters with next to no trunk space. They wanted to sell the oldest/highest mileage car in the 'fleet', meaning my IS300 was sold. It was an '02 with 72K miles. I drive alot between Houston and AUstin, so the mileage really piled up. This meant I got a new car.
