Austin people...
Minder, I am really sorry to hear about that. I hope you weren't hurt. I also hope your G will be road ready really soon.
Regarding the meet: We've been talking about it for some time, so I suggest we do it. The program is the same as above, but I'll summarize here again:
- Meet at the Bob Bullock State History Museum between 2:30 - 2:45 pm on Sunday, October 2, to watch the IMAX movie Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag. The movie lasts 45 minutes.
- The theater is located at 18th and Congress. Directions can be found here:
http://www.thestoryoftexas.com/plan/direct.shtm
- Parking under the theater is $5, but free in the parking lot across the theater.
- After watching the movie, say around 3:45 pm, we'll head over to the 360 bridge for some photos.
- After the shoot, maybe around 5pm, we'll head over to Dave & Busters for some fun and food.
Minder, I really hope you can come in another car. If not, I'd be glad to pick you up. It might be a good way to get your mind off of the crash.
Please RSVP here so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
The weather is forecast to be perfect for this type of gathering.
Jasonsfa98: You still coming ?

Well that sucked.
I showed up and didn't see a single G in the parking lot. So I went and ran some errands and came back when the show was over and didn't see a single G leaving.
I guess we should have had more of a plan on where EXACTLY to meet :-)
Maybe next time.

You are right: We should've planned where exactly to meet. I asked a few guys if their name was Jason. After the third guy I stopped because I started feeling like a homosexual guy trying to find the guy I met through a want ad.
The IMAX movie was very good. I'd go see it again.
