I went ahead and had SW Infiniti do the work. They contracted it out to a vendor here in Houston. I negotiated $495 for the front bumper and hood. Probably paid too much but just happy to have it done.

It took a while for the bra to dry and Im concerned with bubbles and what appears to be scratches on the bra itself from whatever tool was used to push the water out.

Bra came with a warranty and warranty card.

No No No....why!!!! For 500 bucks Xpert would have done bumper, mirror, hood and fenders!!! I have seen thier work first hand on a g35 and its flawless. I am about to go get mine done in 2 weeks. I bet that guy who does the work for SW infiniti left a nice gap from the edges didnt he?? Was it 3M material? If so you are looking at only a 5 year warranty vs lifetime for Ventureshield. O well i guess its too late now, hopefully it will turn out okay.

Ventureshield is not Xpert's custom material. Is actually made by venturetape, which is pretty big company like 3M. Xpert carries both brands but they recommend veturetape over 3M cuz it causes less distortion, last longer, longer warranty. The 3M is probably more than venturetape but I dont have the exact price. The 3M is not bad, I think the venturetape is better.

OK.....DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR CLEAR BRA BUT Xpert TINT!!!! They do a very good job because I got my 06 DG done here couple weeks ago. I would post pics but I forgot my adapter to the comp....ill post them later. And if you go tell them Peter with the 06 G recommended you and they'll hook you up. should be like Tomcatm said; 500 for hood mirrors, fender, bumper.....they use venture tape which is better than 3m

Dang.... wish I would have known sooner. Thanks for the info though. As far as gaps, he brought everything to the edges so there aren't any. I question the work though. I figured the material would be crystal clear but there are some hazy areas. Perhaps there is a bit of moisture under the bra that has yet to dry.

Usually the guy who does the SW infiniti installs leaves a nice gap from the edge, Xpert has pictures of people who come with work done by him and I ve seen the gaps. The haze should go away after a while as the sun burns through the moisture BUT Xpert's install didnt have any haze. If anyone else wants to get it done at Xpert with Venturetape for 350$ for bumper and mirrors/$500 for hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors just shoot me a pm. I live right next to it and I know the manager so I can meet you up or give the manager a heads up. There might be a few of us going up there saturday, dont know how many he can do in one day, but if you want to see his work you can definitely stop by. Ill post an update here next friday or so.
