Monthly meeting?

Any reason we can't have a monthly meeting in Houston like the DFW guys. Has this been discussed already.

We have been discussing a monthly or bi-monthly meet and drive. I have organized two drives to date: the July 3 Brazos Run and the November 13 BBQ Run. Considering a Jingle Bell run for the month of December....or how about a "Festivus Run"! For those Seinfield fans! hehe

I have not located any new roads that are fun to drive yet....So does anyone have a sugestion? I did find some GREAT driving roads around La Grange, but that is a pretty long drive.

71 through la grange/bastrop into austin are really nice roads. the only problem is that (especially in la grange) is that the cops are bad. I've gotten about 3 tickets in that area - although the tickets were easy to get off your record, but still, it's $

Pardon...but 71 is just plain boring. 105 from Weimar to La Grange is one of the best roads I have ever driven! I was thinking of connecting 105 to some other promising roads north east of La Grange. It apperas there are some pretty good twisties when you look on the map (Microsoft Streets and Trips). Some day I'm gonna just take a discovery tour north east of La Grange.

my main point was that la grange is a speed trap, but hey whatever.
