Calling on all G35 owners in Texas

Hey folks, the Raging Bull Texas Stampede driving event, what is planned to be the best driving event in Texas, is only two weeks away. So far 32 cars and 52 people have registered to attend. A complete list of registered cars can be seen here: http://www.rbtexasstampede.com/regis...confirmed.html

There are 12 cars driving all the way from the Abilene, Dallas, and Tyler regions. One driver is planning to come from Arizona on her to way Minnesota.

Two Nissan dealerships (Maxwell Round Rock and Courtesy) have recently signed on as sponsors and will be contributing $500 worth of parts and accessories to give away. Those are in addition to contributions from Meguiar's, Victoria British, Sport Z Magazine, Jim Wolf Technology, and WheelWax. More sponsorships are in the works. The driving routes I have planned are really fun. This is planned to be the best driving event in Texas.

I am really beginning to wonder whether G35 drivers actually enjoy DRIVING their cars. I can't believe that not even one G35 car is coming from the largest city in Texas: Houston. Only one G35 (G35_TX) is coming from San Antonio, but he is a regular Bull Rider so he doesn't count.

Fun roads, amazing scenery, and awesome camaraderie. And lots of free prizes. That's what the Raging Bull Texas Stampede is all about. I guarantee it. I hope at least a few of you will decide to join us for this great weekend-long event.

See the Sticky post at the top of this forum or go to www.RBTexasStampede.com for information and to register.

If this was a 1 day thing I'd hit it... but my schedule does not allow for a 3 day driving trip.

Just providing honest feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand. Keep in mind that you don't have to come for the whole weekend. You can come for Saturday only. Some folks are planning to come to Kerrville Friday night, spend time with the group on Saturday, and then return home Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Haha...very funny. No, there is NO gravel. Perfectly good roads.

Maybe you could come in someone else's car, be their navigator, and maybe switch with them for half the driving on the hill country roads. Just a thought.

I do hope your car's repairs go smoothly.

Guys this is a great event and we should get more support from the G35 guys. The roads are good and you don't have to be here the whole 3 days. Show up Sat morning at the location to all we care and drive that day and then go home afterwards!

yea, show some love for the origin of the G35 chassis. it's not just a status symbol to park in the driveway and show off to friends and family. drive it hard and it'll surprise you what it can actually do.

I take it you won't be showing up? Now that you don't have a "status symbol" anymore?

Now it looks like some family might be in town that weekend. Grr. We'll see.

check the confirmed registration page, trebien. I'm #1 on the list. I registered about 2 minutes after receiving the email saying the page is up.

I'd say about three and a half hours without any breaks.
