Ghost Hunt: Friday Feb. 17 *Pics Are Up!
If we can get a few people in such a short time this is a go. A few friends of mine are comming into town tomorrow [3], Jenn I know wants to go, and one other girl who has ghost hunted before will help us out. I need atleast 3 or 4 more that are for sure they can go meet up with us before we go... safety in numbers... and I mean that.
We will be going to a cemetery on the Northside of town.
Mueschke Cemetery is located right past Hardy and 1960. Here's the thing about number of people... The spirit[s] who "live" at this cemetery are very negative. They have been known to trip, push, and throw people up in the air and to the ground. The only ones listed are "an angry male face" and a "wolf-like creature". No one has said NOT to visit this place as most of the people list it as having one of the best experiences since they have hunted.
From the pictures I've seen and videos I've seen this is hardly a "ghost"... Should we go find out?
As for times... how about 11ish?

Yes, the original spot was going to be on the SW side of town... until this place popped up. Its almost garanteed something will show up or happen... don't not come because you are only scared
Try to make it up this way, it will be worth it I think... I haven't seen it yet so we might pull up to it and be like... hell no.. lol. Who knows - still need a larger group though.
I know its spur of the moment, but a few people just decided... OK, this is it... lets just go right now and do it. So that's what were doin!
Hooter 1960 and 45 1030-1100 PM

So, after alittle confusion we pulled a bit more "spur of the moment" and met up at 9:30, at the Hooters. We sat and chatted for a bit and someone who had hunted ghosts before came out to meet with us. They gave us the run down on what to do [which I'm thankful for], because we would have broken almost all of them: No cussing, no picture taking for atleast 15 or 30 min, and bless yourself going in and out of the cemetery to be sure nothing "follows you out". If that happened you would need to stop [and probably should stop somewhere anyway] at a gas station or something and say, "OK, this is the last stop... everyone needs to get off here." And then jet. Dorky? Eh, yeah. Hurt anything? Definately not - well, the gas station attendent might think you're a little crazy... but hey...
So we head out arond 10:00PM and.... get lost. I'll admit it, I didn't print out the map.. I thought it would be easy. So after about 15 more minutes we find it.... We pull up and it is pretty eery, kinda light from some of the near by 1960 biuldings shining through the trees and the cars headlights from a near by parking lot shining onto the tombs. We spent about 45min at the site. Nothing really happened, I got the chills a few times, but overall felt mildly comfortable.
This place is definately run down. Its spooky... I just wasn't feeling it. We left and 3 of us decide we are going to try out another cemetery, we show up and we can't get in it because its so overgrown we can't find a gate. Bummer. By now its around 12:30AM and its just me one of the guys I work with so we decide, lets go back out to the 1st cemetery!
We get there around 12:45AM and we start down the narrow dead end street with the cemetery at the end. Let me say, being much much later the attitude of this place was CHANGED. Me and my friend sat in the truck, not even moving... we didn't speak, we didn't hardly breath. The haze that was hanging over this place was one of the freakiest settings I had ever seen. We turned around and went back to 1960 and got out to think at a Whataburger. We talked it over and decided to go back...again. Same thing. This time we sat in the truck, light off, engine running watching for anything to move. Finally, after no less then 10min of sittin in almost complete silence we both said there was no way we could set foot back in that place when it was so foggy you couldn't see 10feet past the chain link fence.
So, durring our very 1st visit with the larger group one of the girls had said it felt like something was tugging at her over in a back corner where only 2 graves lay by themselves away from the others... she called me on my way home to say her arm was bruised... in the shape of a hand mark. She took several pictures and is supposed to e-mail them too me so as soon as she does I will post those up.
Definately going to visit this place again but I'm advised NOT to go back with no less then 3 or 4 people. Something is there... and it was disturbed from the previous visit of the large group.... I think it was pissed. The odd part was it was SO quiet when the two of us went back. You could see paint white dots flashing through which was the cars on 1960, but now you couldn't hear them when earlier it was clear a highway was about half a mile away. It appeared to almost hint, "See how quiet it is? Its nothing... come through the gate. Its safe." We will.......

When there is a New Moon... [no moon]
Waning Gibbous
72% of Full
Sat 18 Feb, 2006
Last night it was at 80% full... at this rate it might be this next weekend or the following weekend?
http://www.moon-phases.net/calendar/index.php , ah, there we go!
Actually next saturday will be our best bet. There will only be a small small sliver of the moon. New Moon is on that following Monday. Should also be a clear night [wish it were overcast again] and a bit warmer.
