Infiniti of Austin

I had the wife take our 04 sedan in for the fuel fill-up TSB and it still does it. Looks like all they did was a cleaning. Why would they not do what the TSB says? Just lazy is my guess. Anyone else have experience with this dealership? Good or Bad???

Are they the only ones in Austin? If so, too bad! We have 4-5 here in the Houston area.

They're the only one in Austin.

What did the work order say? Did it say that they did indeed perform the TSB and replaced the part? What did you see underneath the car that makes you suspect that all they did was some cleaning?

It's my fault guys. Yes, it's the only dealership here. I let my wife handle setting up the appoitment since she was taking the car in for service. I explained to her that there was a TSB (I had to explain to her what a TSB was first) for this very problem and felt she was armed with everything she needed. I was actually more concerned she would get hammered into a bunch of services I planned on doing myself. The receipt says cleaned something or other. The service advisor told her that yes, that was common problem and they had done many of them. I see why they did so many, all they were doing was "cleaning" something. I just didnt think it would require me to take a copy of the TSB to the dealership so they would know how to fix a problem they KNOW about on a car THEY sell. I'm getting hot thinking about it. Anyway, we'll be taking it back there since I dont have a choice. I'm actually surprised there arent more Austin guys on here. I see G35s everywhere. Especially coupes. You Houston guys are pretty well represented.

I'm in Austin (well, actually Round Rock) but I work from home so you probably won't see me driving around too much... And no, I haven't had any experience with the service shop at Austin Infiniti yet.. (knock on wood).
