READ!! Important for Houston folks!!

Ok guys, you may have gotten an email about this. I got a fwd from a friend but I disregarded it as another internet hoax, but today my mom was telling me that there was a bulletin about this at St.Luke's Hospital where she works. So FYI...

HOUSTON POLICE AND FBI HAVE CRACKED SEVERAL GANGS HERE IN HOUSTON AREA

THIS INFORMATION IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!

DON'T FLASH HEADLIGHTS AT CAR WITH LIGHTS NOT ON!!

Police officers working with the DARE program have issued this Warning:

If you are driving after dark and see and on-coming car with no
headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common Bloods member "initiation game" that goes like this: The new gang member under
initiation drives along with no headlights, and the first car to flash
their headlights at him is now his "target".

He is now required to turn around and chase that car, then shoot and
kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation
requirements. Police Depts across the nation are being warned. Their
intent is to have all the new bloods nationwide drive around on Friday
and Saturday nights with their headlights off. In order to be accepted into
the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first
auto that does a courtesy flash to warn them that their lights are off.

Make sure you share this information with all the drivers in your
family! Please forward this message to all your friends and family members to
inform them about this initiation ritual.

Thats what I thought, but if hospitals in the Medical center are advising their employees, they prolly had to have a communication from law enforcement cuz I doubt they make official announcements based on rumors. Believe me I am a hardcore skeptic of things like these, esp on the net, but better be safe than sorry eh?

It has been posted at several locations. I'm an HPD officer and I'm here to advice everyone that it's an urban legend.

Urban legend or not (I think it's more yes than not), if anyone wants to shoot me in my car while I'm being a peaceful citizen, there's going to be a shootout cuz I'll have to protect myself, my family, and my friends. P229 with a CHL is for that purpose. You agree, Homie G?...lol. Thanks for the heads up though, Anil.

I think it would be all over the news, and everyone would know about it, instead of just hospital in the medical center. Also there would be some occurance of it happening already. This has been around for a long time. Maybe it happened in the past, maybe not..but as of current, I highly doubt that it's still true and going on. If you look up urban legends, gangs, flashing lights on google, you will realize.
