Houston - Dumba$$ Discount Tire messed up my wheel

I went to Discount Tire at Beechnut and 59 last Friday to get a hole patched. After it was done, I noticed four white scratches on the outer rim where the tire's sidewall sits. I notified the manager, and he instantly knew what it was: the stupid tech didn't use the rubber pads when putting my wheel on the 4-pronged machine that grabs the wheel for mounting/dismounting the tire. He offered to take it to Sabs, and after getting advice from my good friend Sam at Clearlake Infinity, I left it with the manager. I didn't need it this week since I'm travelling on business. I'm going to get it back Saturday morning, hoping that it looks decent. So guys, for those of you whole don't know, make sure whenever you get your tire fixed or replaced that they use rubber pads wherever necessary!

Damn, don't worry I got owned by DT as well. Except they sent me a brand new wheel, **** letting them fix it. Their fault + angry jimmy = new rim.

I will check to see how it is. And if I am indeed satisfied, I will still ask for a written warranty for life of the rim against fading or appearance alteration of the fixed area. Also, I did watch my stuff, I really thought that dumba$$ knew what he was doing.
