Re: RedWillow

No, I got the tint put on about a week after I got the car. Last time I saw you on Baymeadows, I had my windows down. I think I'm going to call Atlantic and tell them I was that damn gold taken off now!!! They were supposed to do it a while back and I just haven't really pushed it, but now I want it gone. Starting to really bother me now.

My ex-gf works up there @ Outback, so I'm up there all the time. I'm a big Red Sox fan, and some drunk Jags fans just outta the game were about to get us into a fight with some guy in a Yankee's hat, so I wanted to make sure that wasn't you. hehehe.

Re: RedWillow

Finally got tint today. Got 30% on the side & rear window & 15% on the strip in the windshield. They did a good job - didn't mess up the car. They did point out a small dent before they started that I wasn't even aware of.

Now if only I could find a reasonably priced garage, with a small house attached.

Re: RedWillow

I like the way you worded the garage house thing. You've got your priorities straight. If you look into getting the dent fixed keep me posted. I have a bad one also.

Re: RedWillow

Try the Dent Doctor at St. John's Bluff -as long as the paint is still intact they can fix it.

Re: RedWillow

Dent is barely visable. Light & angle must be just right to see it. Shaped like a thumbprint. Paint is still intact.

Tint still needs a few more days to set. Plan to Zaino next week & will take pictures after.

I'm a little worried about the tint on the driver's side window. They put these yellow protection strips on the bottom to prevent the tint from being scratched when the windows automatically go down but 1/2 of that strip is already off of the driver's side because of the motion. Did this happen with yours?

Re: RedWillow

yeah, i wouldn't worry about it... just try to keep the opening/closing to a minimum for a few days.... my protectant strips moved around some too. They probably dried that area well to keep it from coming up.
