Hey gang...trying to decide on a tint shop for my DG sedan. Hot Spot Tinting (Diamond Films) or Custom Sun Control (Formula One Films). I have used Hot Spot Tinting in the past with no problems, but interested to see pictures of the Formula One tint used at Custom Sun Control. I will probably go 35% on the sides and possibly 20% in the rear with an all-metal film for a gray color.

Anyone have pictures of their tint job from Custom Sun Control?

 

Custom Sun did my NSX a few years back. Danny over there has won awards and such for his work. That being said, they are a bit higher than others in town.

I have been using Solarworks lately with great results. I would check with them as well when you are getting your pricing.

ok ive had many cars tinted since ive been in atlanta. ive used the 2 aforementioned places. if custom sun control were open on weekends i would have used them for all the cars, even if they are a bit pricier. the guys at custom sun do a much better job. its the same guy everytime. at hot spot, the turnover must be kinda high cuz a differnt person has done the tinting each time. bridgette the owner only does mobile service now. put it this way, i take my daily beaters to hot spot and took the porsche to custom. my buddy did the same with his cls55, m5 and gallardo. the precision in the cuts of the film and the neatness in application are way different between the 2 places.
and btw, its really hard to tell from pictures in the quality of tint jobs. u just have to see the difference in person
