no idea on the master business. You usually have to call in to get the amount you have to pay. I think its done so the cop dosen't have to tell you how much the ticket is for and you freak out.

My advice is go to court.

I went for a ticket i got for an accident i was in years ago. The judge had a TON of cases and just said "anyone here for a moving violation can just pay $50 court costs and have the your ticket dismissed with no affect on your insurace."

Like 200 people got up and took that deal.

I got the impression that was standard practice when you go to court.

good luck.

with traffic school you need to pay the fine and for the class but you get no points

can only do this once in a year and can only do this five times in a lifetime

call the issuing county court for the fine

IMO do not fight this as you wil most likely lose

Have a healthy day!

Send the form for a court hearing, that the cop gave you with the ticket. What they do now is that they give you appointment for a pre-trial and the judge is a lawyer doing court time and if you don't have a bad record he tells you to paid a fine and no point towards you license or record, or you need to come back to a court trial. Most of the cases they rather pay ticket no points than rather come back again and loose another day. This way the court saves judges time and cop times also and they get the fine money. Its all about the money now days .... lol
