Rey
well i called and asked the service department if the changed the thermostat cause your are supposed to change it when you put a new radiator in.
they said that the thermostat was okay and didnt need to be changed and it only needed to be changed if it had gotten damaged but it didnt. they also said that they tested every thing and it was okay and that they could not get the car to overheat again.
do you think that it will be okay or should i have them change it tomorrow when i go to pick it up?
thanks

Daniel

I would get in touch with someone who has the FSM, and see what that says. If the FSM says the thermostat is supposed to be changed, then they should have changed it. If not, then it should be OK.

Re: and the thrilling conclusion

i looked at the radiator replacement section last night and could not find anywhere in the procedure that it says to replace the thermostat when doing the radiator.

However, it did have several warnings about not damaging nearby AC lines.
