Re: Jacksonville - IV

Thanks for offering to move the meet time for me but I don't want to mess anyone else up. Let's stick with 2. Right now my job is scheduled for 2 but it will probably be later. It shouldn't take more than an hour. I'm hoping for 3 so I can hang out for an hour or so.

Hey they're having midnight drags tonight from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am. Let me know if you want to hook up and do this. It's $10 to race and $5 to watch. Send me a cell # in a pm and I'll call you.

Re: Jacksonville - IV

I think for our next meet we should go for a little cruise. Dan and I were riding around last night for a little bit and it was pretty cool. I didn't realize how much more attention is drawn to the car when you have a couple riding together.

Anup - My wife told me she saw your car yesterday with your personalized tag. I thought you were going out of town.

Chris - We didn't do any runs last night, just watched. There were over 100 cars and they didn't start running until midnight.

They're doing early midnight drags next Saturday (I know it's Valentine's Day) from 8 to midnight. And Tuesday the 24th is Import Night from 6-9pm. Early midnight drags on the 28th as well.

Re: Jacksonville - IV

yeah, i think a planned drive somewhere would be good.

By the time you msgd me about the races I was pretty loaded and in no shape to be driving, much less racing around.

Was it mostly hondas and mustangs there?

Re: Jacksonville - IV

yeh

there were also some s10's, eclipses, couple of dodge trucks, and an 02 collectors edition trans am.

it was pretty tight till it was time to leave then this kid thought he would spray the whole drivers side of my car with mud as well as parts of the dash. them today after i got done washing it, i was drivng up to the front garage at my grandparents place and the left rear tire decided it wanted to sink in and spin and throwe mud all over the place as well. so i had to rewash it. the worse part was that it was so cold out.

Dude I had to laugh when I saw that. It was one of those moments where nobody got hurt, nothing was damaged, and the only thing left to do was laugh at it. I'm glad your interior didn't get wrecked.

We don't have to wait for another meet. Just let us know when you're going to be up here again. After last night I'm never leaving home without my digital camera.

She saw you on the regency side. I can't go autoxing the 22nd but if you're interested they're doing the early midnight drags on the 28th.

Anybody want to go out to the track Saturday night? I know it's V-day but just checking if anyone wanted to spend quality time with their true love.

Re: savannah, auto-x, drag strip

well, since i just got the ride back from the dealer for this alignment problem, I think i'm gonna go easy on it for a while and try not to have to take it back to the dealership anytime soon.

But we do need to get out there sometime. We should look at some future dates to meet up again, since many people were not able to make the last hooters thing, and you had to leave early.
