I have 20 or 25% all the way around. And I want to get my front window tinted, since I wear glasses I cant wear sunglasses unless I have contacts on and the sun just smacks me in the face. Im thinking something fairly light like 50ish to 70%. Just wondering if I get pulled over , about how much am I looking at for a tint ticket?

 

i got pulled over a long time ago in my old car. Its like a 70 dollar ticket, or no charge if you get the tint removed.

 

yes ive gotten pulled over for my tint. i have 5% all the way around and a 30% windshield.

either way tinting your windshield is highly illegal. whether its 50 or 70, so you might as well go with like 30

dont know how much it would have cost, didnt really care cause i would get it dismissed, which it did and i didnt pay anything

And I ended up going with 50% on the front. Not so much for the legal aspect, its so I could still drive at night. Plus I was mistaken, my side and back windows are 15% not 25% so even with 50% in the front it looks pretty dark overall.
