Did you guys see the updated post of FA? It shows the small arrow lining up with another arrow. Apparently this alignment helps the Z-tube to clear the a/c tube. Jeff bring some of that "stuff" that you used for me too just incase...

FYI, This Friday MarcG and I are installing his Z-Tube and Popcharger. We will be adjusting mine as well. I'm also having my UR UNDERDRIVE PULLEY installed on Friday morning. If anyone with a Kinetix plenum wants to stop by and get in line for an install let me know...

Yes Todd my arrows are lined up and it still rests against the AC line...I bought the tubing and can meet u for ur install on friday so u can put it on in daylight.
Tomorrow Im gonna go add a spacer on the Ztube bracket where it connects to the plenum. and Tape the tubing down alot more because as Dennis pointed out, the tubing can cause the rub now, but I think the tubing would cause a uniform rub if any and with a smooth service I dont think it would cause a leak...but better safe than sorry.

zul8r, why not both? Again, Marc and I are definitely going. Ian has said he's going and so has Wes. If you want to wait and hope DED issues another challenge, o.k., but we're not calling this event off just because 1 person can not make it. I'll be the first one to accept DED's next challenge (since it was initially issued to me alone) but I'm going to show up to this event for BRAGGING RIGHTS. That's right, DED challenged me and was SO AFRAID that I'd clean the track up with him, that he bailed out... That's what I'll tell my grand kids when reliving this moment.

I worked till 3 and then went to the shop and painted the plenum. Damn I think it's gonna look sweet. Hope you guys are having fun. I'll get out there with you guys one time.

I had a blast last night at the track. With temps in the 80's and a relatively high humidity level, and a cross wind in our faces, I'd say we had pretty much every variable working against us. None the less, it was a great time.

I only had 2 runs, the second run I could not find second gear and messed up (worst run I've ever had)... but the first run I'll post below...

fair enough Neff...u slayed me

but Im happy believing it was that Crawford plenum that did it since i had u by 0.12 at 60" and 0.16 at the 1/8th and u were 2mph faster. As long as I dont have to admit that a stock 6MT will walk on a stock 5AT then I'll admit that my tires were cold and i ran in the wrong lane and umm umm maybe i broke at the end...plenty of reasons u beat me
