Im from memphis, bought my G in memphis...in Orlando for grad school though

I might be up there in mid-May

Whole different G crowd here, compared to Orlando. Haven't heard one Z tube or aftermarket exhaust yet, and can't find a track to run her on . My Cordova neighbors give me darting glances.

Yeah, the Memphis population in general is way different than Florida. Im sure your one of the few that appreciate the car.

by the way, i wasnt aware of an 04.5...what changes were made from the 04???

Can't find a track?(!) How about that Memphis MotorSports Park? They probably have test & tune nights once or twice per week all summer long...

I can't remember on the 2004.5 but I read early on in my days on this board of some minor program tweaks that affected EPA stuff or maybe a TCU reprogram... sorry, can't remember for sure. Or maybe some service bulletin things.

Thanks bullseye, I couldn't find anything on their website but I'll be giving them a call now and I'll find out. I'd love to get some actual times under my belt....I can't get this G Tech Pro Comp to stop reading 5 second 0-60s and 500 HP.

Sounds like you need to make a trip to Orlando. We have group dyno days, group mod installs, Friday beer nights at Bennegins, local Central Florida meets, and drag strip outings all of the time. Heck, we even had 8 guys crash Z-Fest and had the only ATI Procharger at the festival.

Rub it in Neff. I've been trying to get work in FL for the last 15 years as it is. But I can't complain. Memphis sure does beat Peoria.

Hey, I lived in Champaigne / Urbana for 4 months while my wife completed her field work for her OT degree. That pretty much sucked, so I know where you're coming from.

No chit? I spent from 1989 through 1998 in Champaign/Urbana! When were you there? And what is OT? I loved Champaign and wished there was a LaBamba around here.

I was there in 94 or 95 while my wife worked at CARLE hospital (for free). I was an assistant manager at Wendys, kind of close to the University (just needed a job for 4 months). There was a long road with a lot of business and car dealerships where I worked. I got a gun put to my head while working at Wendys (long story), that's what motivated me to start getting my act together in college.

OT is Occupational Therapy. The wife has a degrees from Valpo and Maryville, and even a Masters Degree from Wash U. I spent 4 month in St. Louis (much better IMO than Illinois) and loved the party atmosphere there. Important advise for the young single college guys. Move to a city with a medical school, become a bartender and you'll get to meet, or marry the hottest therapist, doctor, pharmacist, etc... Anyway, the weather got real old, real quick, but the old lady made it all worth while. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

Wow, in the mid nineties I lived right down the block in Savoy on route 45 (where the Wendy's is you're talking about). I bet I ran through that drive through before. Too weird.

catatafish, I also live in Cordova. I just ordered a z tube and popcharger for my 2004 Black 6MT G35 coupe. Was it an easy install?? I saw the pictures at Performance Nissan Parts and it doesn't look too complicated.

 

Easy and fun. But you must be careful of the A/C lines and another wire that can rub against the Z tube. I had to do a little bracket bending.

I bet the Black with a 6MT is an awesome ride. I almost went that route.
