bracket bending??? i need to check mine...since iv installed mine iv read 3 posts about the AC line rubbing aftermarket intakes...
but i dont know which one is the AC line...ahh well, i'll look for ANY touching.

The Black 6MT is an awesome ride. It requires quite a bit of washing and cleaning but what a heck. It always looks beautiful for those 5 minutes after just washing it before the pollen and dust starts collecting on it.

Your G35 Ivory Coupe looks like one I saw about 2 weeks ago on my way home while driving on Walnut Grove. I live on Houston Levee and Macon.

I am definitely going to email you and see if we can hook up. I will like to know exactly where the bending needs to happen.

 

OK, i just went and checked everything out.

There is a rubber line underneath the Ztube thats a good inch and a half below the Ztube but is not tight against anything and i can move it enough to touch the Ztube...also I saw the insulated line that has zip ties ever 1/2inch and i assume that the A/C line but this is not close to my Ztube BUT there is the metal line on the right that is resting against the connector from the Ztube to Popcharger. A couple inches up the line is a valve with the letter H. I dont know what this is but since it is metal and both are secure, I would think its ok... or is this a problem????

I think I remember you now. You were in the left lane stopping at Walnut Grove/Sanga while I was in the right lane turning off to Sanga. Your car looked awesome. I was kicking myself all the way home after that. I'll drop you my number in a private message and I'll be happy to show you my set up. My Crawford V5 plenum will be here next Wednesday or so too if you're considering one you can see what it does to my ride.

That is your A/C line. It is a soft metal. You don't want anything touching it because everytime you hit a bump that tube will rub against that line and eventually rub a hole in the line. Private message me if you want and I'll give you my number and be happy to tell you what I had to do. Every car is subtly different and we're talking millimeters here.

I can't wait to see the difference that the Crawford plenum does for your ride. What are you going to do about the infiniti cover though??
In the near future, I would also like to get the plenum. I have to spend the money wisely and timely so the wife can't tell what's going on with the good old credit card.

 

LOL, I know what you mean. Mine wants to spend it on the freakin garden and curtains.

I'm going to leave the cover off. I'm ordering the black powder coat, but I might do red powder coat and put red hoses throughout the bay and paint some of the plastic to match. We'll see. Depends on how bored I get. I've seen people cut up their cover but I think it looks awkward due to the assymetrical angles.

The TCI Midnight Madness is a new program at Memphis Motorsports Park this season. The program will feature four late night Test-N-Tune events geared towards import and street cars. The TCI Midnight Madness Test-n-Tune sessions will run on April 23, June 4, July 9, and August 27 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Gates open for the late night sessions at 9 p.m.
