Dealer Repair Questions
Dealer Repair Questions
Hey guys,
About to go in for my 90k service at Infinity of Duluth. Dealer is suggesting a few things, wanted a few opinions. They quoted me almost $600 for the following:
1. Throttle linkage induction service
2. Belts and hoses - probably do this
3. Power steering - definately needed here.
Main question is with the induction service. Is this absolutely needed and a top priority right now? I'm getting great gas mileage and I have not had any engine troubles. Any advantages that you guys noticed when you got this done?
Next on the list was one of my compression rod bushings is cracked, they quoted me $550 to get this done. I've noticed the creaking sound when driving, if I put this on the back burner, will this create further problems with the rod itself or any other parts? Is this a decent price or should I look elsewhere to get this fixed?
Thanks,
Wise
