Ive talked to a couple people here in Jax that might be interested in a Florida, or Southeast G35's Tshirt, it doesnt have to be G35driver.com related, but could possibly. I will do a design for the front and back, and could even personalize each shirt with the persons name if they'd like. Depending on how many people are interested, I could do them for $25 each, and less if more people are interested.

I havent started on the design yet. What would everone like to see on it?

That sounds good to me, we should use a miniature(wow i really can't spell that) thats surprising :! ) of the stickers that were developed and then a new design for each of the backs depending on the event. Something simple showing the place, date.... I think this could be a good way to start raising funds for a G35 car club that I keep wanting to do.

Yeah, I did the design for the stickers for Doug, so I have that. I could put that on the front small in the pocket area with the persons name, or screenname or something.

The more basic the design the better, imo. This would cut down on design and artwork prices and differences in design ideas. Not to mention trying to get a shirt for different events will be tough, hell we can't even get the "Florida G out" meet figured out. I thought the decal design + or - the region in a larger logo on the back and a smaller design/name on the front where the pocket would be. No pockets please.

 

Not sure about what you were thinking as far as pocketed/non-pocketed, collared, or just a t-shirt...

I vote for a standard t-shirt style... with no personalization. And then if there is enough interest, maybe a polo.

I like the idea of the emblem from the sticker, especially on the front.

And simple is important. Date, location, and sponsers (if applicable) and maybe the emblem again.

I would say adding "g35driver.com" would be ok. Maybe in a "sponser type position on the shirt since they do have a bit to do with these meets.

As the wife was taking her sweet 'ol time shopping yesterday at the mall, I was talking to the guy that does the embroidered custom ball caps and visors. I think this would also be a great idea. Maybe emblem on the front and the region on the back over the strap. Or region and emblem on the front and a signiture tagline on the back "Ivory Pearl 6MT".

Do you also have the ability to do something like this?

Great idea. I agree with a lot of the other responses. Keep it simple (place, date, some graphics but not too busy). The site "logo" at the top would look good on either a black or white t-shirt as a front pocket logo. The only issue we might have with the sticker design is copyrighting. I don't know if anyone else noticed but Autovation stopped making their G35 and Infiniti logo pedals because they got busted.

The Tshirts would have to be white, I cant print on black tshirts.
I dont think we would have a problem with copyrights on this, its not like we would be mass producing and selling them, its more of a club thing.

I can do embroidered polos, etc, the cost would be a lot more initially, but I think we should start out simple with the tshirts and go from there. I agree with keeping the design simple.

Thanks. I got it under control. I just wanted some feedback on what people might be interested in. I think I have an idea now, I think its best to keep it simple and I think people like the idea of using the new sticker as the main idea. Im going to make the design and will post it before the weekend. Im also going to leave it open to personalization as far as the persons name small on the front if they would like it, but dont have to.
